Experiencing North India through the eyes of Maya and Rajan made the book very exciting to read. This book was useful from an educational perspective and taught us a great deal about the Indian culture even though we were already pretty knowledgeable on this subject. It also underscored the importance of exposing your family history and culture to your children early on so they can gain a sense of pride before perhaps others provide their own perspective on your culture. We plan to share it with many friends as it is just such a great demonstration of celebrating one’s culture.
