Dr. Sangeeta Gupta
Dr. Sangeeta R. Gupta is the president and lead consultant for Gupta Consulting Group.
As a globally recognized expert with more than 25 years of experience in diversity, equity, inclusion, gender, unconscious bias, and cultural competency education, Dr. Gupta is a trusted advisor to C-level executives. Her clientele range from smaller organizations to Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries. It is her continuing mission to help organizations create a more inclusive, equitable, and productive work environment for all.
Dr. Gupta works to define and create holistic DEI strategies and implementation plans with effective, actionable steps. She is a highly sought-after speaker and has published extensively on DEI and cultural competency, including a series of children’s books.
Dr. Gupta volunteers with a variety of non-profit organizations including K–12 schools and the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). She is the DEI Lead for BSA of California and Hawaii, where she works with 20 councils to create a more inclusive environment for the youth, parents, and adult leaders.
Linda Rudolph
Linda Rudolph is a senior consultant for Gupta Consulting Group. As a senior HR leader with more than 25 years of experience, Ms. Rudolph has worked in a number of industries including pharmaceutical, technology, manufacturing, and life sciences. A creative and collaborative leader, she is passionate about fostering a culture based on organization values that empower and support employees.
Ms. Rudolph creates HR infrastructure and develops and implements HR strategies for privately held and public organizations to achieve impressive results. She leverages her HR expertise to enhance the talent acquisition and employee development initiatives and reduce turnover. Ms. Rudolph routinely overhauls performance management practices to increase employee engagement and support organizational goals. She has also facilitated numerous training programs on topics such as performance management, behavioral interviewing, and delivering effective feedback.
For the past 15 years, Ms. Rudolph has served as a faculty member in the School of Business and Economics at Concordia University Irvine and has also taught in the Business Management graduate program California State University, Los Angeles.
Ms. Rudolph volunteers as a coach and mentor for Youth Employment services, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting teens and young adults with interviewing and job search skills. She also volunteers with the Orange County chapter of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), supporting parents of children affected by ADHD.
A fitness enthusiast, she likes hiking, cycling, and enjoying the Southern California beaches.
Dr. Gary Ruud
Dr. Gary Ruud is a senior consultant for Gupta Consulting Group. Dr. Ruud received his doctorate from the University of Washington and is currently a professor in the Department of Human Communication Studies at California State University, Fullerton. Professor Ruud specializes in organizational communication. With over 20 years of related experience, he has taught a variety of courses, including Training and Development, the Dynamics of Organizational Communication, Communication in Groups and Teams, Interviewing, Intercultural Communication, Communication Theory, and Research Methods.
Mariah Hayden, MA, MBA
Mariah Hayden is the Executive Director of New Life Village, a mission-based housing community serving diverse families impacted by trauma and foster care. Mariah has worked in the academic, nonprofit, government, and private sectors directing marketing, communications project management, community relations, branding, training and instruction, diversity programs management, event management, and educational programming since 2000.
Mariah serves as co-director of the DEI Holistic Speaker series along with Dr. Gupta. This speaker series is a monthly series that explores different topics relating to DEI.
Mariah has served on the University of Tampa Alumni Association, the University of Tampa Board of Counselors as well as the Los Angeles and Tampa Chapters of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources. She received her Bachelors in Communication and minor in Marketing from the University of Tampa. She went on to earn her Masters in Communication from San Diego State University and her MBA at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
Mariah has completed a Certificate of Change Management and a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from the University of Tampa. She is also an adjunct instructor of Public Speech at Hillsborough Community College.
