Not Too Hot to Talk About: An Open Discussion About all Things DEI

  • April 21, 2021
  • 1pm EST/11am CST/10am PST

Session Overview:

What’s on your mind about DEI?

It has been a very eventful 12 months. So much has happened and from our conversations with a variety of people, everyone is reeling as they take in all the constant news cycles about racial inequities that keep occurring. On top of that, we have all been juggling work and family, all during a pandemic. All of this is overwhelming to say the least. Join Dr. Sangeeta Gupta and Mariah Hayden to talk about anything that is on your mind about DEI, these current events and just the stress and pressure of it all.

We will also have some prepared discussion questions on the topics of privilege, white guilt, microaggressions, and allyship in case you want to talk about those topics instead or as well. This session is focused on sharing what is on your mind, or just listening to the experiences of others, as well as offering support and advice.

Registration for the Event will Close at 9 am EST the morning before each session.

There is no charge to join the discussion, however sessions are limited to the first 100 registrations. You will receive an email no later than 48 hours before the event with a link to the session. Discussions, presentations, breakout sessions and Q & A will be 1.5 hours.
